Collection Boxes
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE - National Pet Month COLLECTING BOXES
Thank you for requesting a National Pet Month Collecting Box. Please read this carefully and make sure the following instructions are adhered to in accordance with the Charities Act 1992.
The National Pet Month Collecting Boxes can only be used to collect funds for National Pet Month in a static position, that is, at an event, in a shop/veterinary surgery, house/place of worship, supermarket, etc. If you would like to organise a door-to-door or street collection, you must apply for a Local Authority Permit yourself.
Also, the money collected in the National Pet Month Collecting Box MUST be forwarded on to National Pet Month in its entirety, or paid directly into the National Pet Month bank account. You can either empty the box and then send a cheque for the full amount to National Pet Month, or you can get in touch with the National Pet Month office for details of the bank account into which the money can be paid.
You may not, by law, deduct any of the money collected. National Pet Month Collecting Boxes remain the property of National Pet Month and should be returned when no longer required. Money that is donated to National Pet Month is used to further the aims of National Pet Month by promoting responsible pet ownership by way of printing of literature, for postage, and funding of the administrative costs involved.
