We were delighted to run three competitions in National Pet Month 2011. Here are our fantastic winners!
2011 Art Competition ‘Happiness is…… time with your pet’
National Pet Month 2011 encouraged schools and children’s groups to get behind the charity and hold their very own ‘Pet Nose Day’.
Using the year’s theme – ‘Happiness is... time with my pet’ – children were encouraged to get in touch with their artistic side by creating a face mask of their favourite pet

Our 2011 School’s Art Winner was Thorne Manor Day Nursery and Pre-School in Holsworthy, Devon.
They win a fantastic presentation day involving Pets as Therapy, and some really cute electronic pet toys called MicroPets, courtesy of Tomy. Watch this space for details of their presentation day!

Basildon Borough Council were the worthy winners of the 2011 National Pet Month Best Event competition for their Dog’s Day Out in Northlands Park

2011 Photography Competition
National Pet Month was delighted to team up with Your Dog and Your Cat magazine for a fantastic photo competition. To celebrate the Royal Wedding, the theme ‘Pets in Love’ was chosen.
